Rights
On June 22, 2010 permission was granted for the LMA:
"Hello,
Iâm from a band based on Massachusetts called One Step Further that would like to be included in the archive. Over the years Iâve found the archive to be a great source for sharing live material. Our band freely allows taping at our shows and encourages responsible trading within the community. Live music is so important and valuable and weâd love the chance to have tapers preserve our performances in the archive.
We have read the section on your FAQ page and we donât have any questions at this time. We currently donât have any limits weâd like to set for what can be hosted. If we are added to the archive we will upload a couple past shows that we have and we will encourage our fans to start recording and uploading content on their own. Our general view on taping is to allow tapers to set up and record with their own gear as long as they are not adversely affecting the enjoyment of other attendees. We allow limited access to the soundboard for recording if the venue allows it and if it is not a hindrance to the audio technicians.
Sincerely,
Scott McGrath
